Saturday was an enjoyable day with it’s beginnings etched out by the drum beat and tractor putting away as a parade in the town of Rogers, MN began. The streets soon filled with entry after entry walking down Main Street. Lining the street were the occasional tube topped woman, and tank-top clad guy. Children stood ready to leap into action to gather as much candy in as short of a period of time as the could possibly muster. In these images are woven each life, maybe not as we know it, but for some maybe as we dream it! C’mon you know you wanna be a drum major if for only a moment.
Enjoy…Throw a comment back, or better yet go to a parade with a “young one”!
Good day folks! Yep I’ve gone green, well at least in terms of what I photographed today. I took a brief walk along a path on my property and created 8 different images. A couple of my favorites are #3 (‘itchweed”) and #7 (burdock). I like these because of the intensity of the colors in each, and also the fact that they are obnoxious, painful things! The images were created within a timeframe of 15 minutes and was purely an output, or maybe an input for my creative juices. I think too many times we don’t take a breather, look at something green rather than our computer screen.
So enjoy the Green Initiative!
