NPI/Randy Hatanpa Collaboration…DONE!

The first collaboration is done!  It was an interesting adventure.  The emotions that came up during the shooting were very interesting to say the least.  I grew up in a smoking home, I guess you would say literally, “Caught in the Cross-Fire”.  A tough place to be for a kid, caught in an adults world.

The collaboration between Randy and myself was an extremely easy process.  He is such a seasoned artist!  Things flow from him without much effort.  Top that with an extremely nice guy and what more could come out except a visually striking final piece.

Diving into the big Blog World!

Well here it goes. I am diving head first into the blog world. I will be asking many of my connections in the months ahead to “Make me shoot”. The project  “Make me shoot” will be a creative collaboration between myself and my connections to come up with images from the depths of their creative minds.  The collaborations will be at the very least bi-monthly, and at the very most weekly.  Categories can include but are not limited to: emotions, state of mind, the five senses.

The example below is from a shoot I did a couple years ago of my dad. It is labeled “Life at 65”. This would fall into the state of mind category.life65-0082821So have fun.  And add some of your words of creative wisdom to the “Creative Meandering” area.

Take a look at the concept below for the first “Creative Collaboration” from Randy Hatanpa.

So who’s gonna be first?

The first “Creative Collaboration” will be with Randy Hatanpa of Design Wide Open.

Here is Randy’s Idea:

Fork in the road.
People caught in the moment of decision time. The viewer needs to feel their
struggle or lack of.
